Magic Rabbit to go to Junior Eurovision. By Sergey Gusachenko: A 13-year-old Minsker Yura Demidovich will represent Belarus at the international junior contest Eurovision-2009 in Kiev. Yura won the national contest "Song for Eurovision". The final contest was held in Minsk on September 10. The composition "Magic Rabbit" was recognized as the best by TV audience and professional jury. The popularity of this hit exceeds the heavily rotated Belarusian pop hits. He is 13, lives in Minsk and studies at National Music College. He composed the song himself after reading "Alice in Wonderland". At first he played the melody on the piano. It combines many styles: rap, classical music and opera. A little piece of text in Russian and in Latin. He also conquered the hearts of the audience by his manner of performance.
