The representatives of Belarus at Eurovision 2015 Uzari & Maimuna will perform in the second part of the first semi-final, which will take place in Vienna, Austria, on 19 May.

The Eurovision allocation draw was held on 26 January as part of the Host City Insignia ceremony at the Vienna City Hall, during which the Austrian capital officially adopted the status of the Eurovision 2015 host city.

The ceremony was anchored by Andi Knoll and Kati Bellowitsch, the popular faces of the ORF TV channel. The allocation draw was observed by Jon Ola Sand, the Executive Supervisor of the EBU, and Thomas Niedermeyer from the televoting partner Digame.

The allocation draw pots, revealed yesterday by the EBU, were calculated by the Digame company in accordance with voting patterns over the past five years.

This year’s contest will see a total of 39 participating countries. The first semi-final on 19 May will feature 16 countries, the second, scheduled for 21 May, will include representatives from 17 countries.

The countries taking part in the first semi-final will be: Belarus, Greece, Macedonia, Estonia, Netherlands, Moldova, Finland, Belgium, Armenia, Serbia, Denmark, Romania, Russia, Albania, Georgia and Hungary.

The countries taking part in the second semi-final will be: Norway, Ireland, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, San Marino, Malta, Portugal, Montenegro, Switzerland, Azerbaijan, Slovenia, Latvia, Poland, Iceland, Israel, Cyprus and Sweden.

The Big Five countries (United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain and Italy) and the host of this year's Eurovision - Austria - are automatically guaranteed a place in the final on 23 May, but they will also broadcast the semi-finals and vote for the participants. Spain, France and Austria will evaluate the contestants of the first semi-final, while Germany, Italy and the UK will cast their votes in the second one.

The running order for the semi-finals will be determined later by Eurovision producers. This system has been operating for several years, and allows the organizers to make the show spectacular and unique.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2015 will be held in Vienna, Austria, from 19-23 May.

A live broadcast of the two semi-finals and the final will traditionally be provided by the Belarus 1 and Belarus 24 TV channels.
