Belarusian representatives at "Eurovision-2015" Uzari & Maimuna filmed a music video for the song "Time"
19 production companies competed for the right to create a video for the Eurovision song. Uzari & Maimuna chose a Belarusian team and filmed the video in a pavilion near Minsk.
The protagonist - Uzari - presents a fabulous and even mystical character - an elf of our time. The hero from another reality has to save the girl - Maimuna.
Correspondent Evgeny Perlin shares his impressions.
"Shooting of a music video started on a treadmill. The singer went in for fitness for more than three hours at the speed of 20 kilometers per hour," - says the journalist.
As planned by the director, in order to save Maimuna, Uzari had to go through all the four elements. That is why the "weather" in the pavilion changed every hour: first there was smoke, then - snow, and then - fire and wind.
"Judging by the scenario, the clip will be full of special effects. 11 tons of sand was brought to the pavilion specially for the music video, because according to the plot Uzari runs through a large desert. 3-meter high hourglass is impressive too, Maimuna will stand inside of it with her violin," – says Evgeny Perlin.
Neither the actors nor the crew reveal the final of the clip, which is kept in secret. The music video will be presented in the first half of March. On March 16, the Belarusian delegation consisting of the heads of BTRC will hand in the organizers of "Eurovision" a package of materials required for the participation of our artists in the competition, including the clip, which will be broadcast on national channels of all 40 countries-competitors. The clip is not a prerequisite of the European Broadcasting Union, but it gives additional chances to get fans across Europe.
Meanwhile, BTRC and the creative team continue preparation for the international competition, which is going to take place in two and a half months. In the near future a well-known Cypriot singer, songwriter, producer and vocal coach Alex Panayi will arrive in Minsk at the invitation of the media holding. Alex himself represented his country on the popular song show, and prepared for the contest such participants as Elena Paparizou, sisters Tolmachevy, and Belarusian participants of "Eurovision" in 2013 and 2014 - Alena Lanskaya and Teo. Uzari and backing vocalists will improve their singing with the help of Panayi.
In addition, at the invitation of the media holding the PR-manager Katherine Lockett (Switzerland) will closely cooperate with the Belarusian team during the preparation for the competition and during the competition itself.
International Song Contest "Eurovision-2015" will be held in Vienna (Austria) from May 19 to 23.
Representatives of Belarus Uzari & Maimuna will perform their song in the second part of the first semi-final on May 19.
Live broadcast of the two semi-finals and finals will traditionally be held by BTRC channels "Belarus 1" and "Belarus 24".
