Today, on January 8, the contestants are starting rehearsals in the studio "600 m" at Belteleradiocompany. The final qualifying round for the Eurovision 2014 Song Contest will take place on January 10. The show will start at 22:00 and to be broadcast live from the "600 m" studio on Belarus 1 and Belarus 24 TV channels as well as on the EBU website www.eurovision.tv
The official representative of our country at the international competition will be traditionally determined according to the jury and audience voting results.
Belarusian viewers will be able to cast their votes for their favourite singers after the performance of the last participant. Within 10 minutes, the viewers will be able to vote by making a phone call or sending a text message to the numbers displayed on-screen.
Belteleradiocompany provides the audience in the studio and TV viewers with the possibility to monitor the voting process online. The phone and text message voting procedure is provided by Beltelecom.
The national selection round and preparations of a Belarusian participant for Eurovision 2014 is organized by Belteleradiocompany, as it is the only member of the European Broadcasting Union in Belarus.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2014 will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark.
