Belarus 5 to provide live broadcast of 2015 Biathlon Junior World Championship races

The Belarus 5 TV channel will provide its viewers with an opportunity to follow the events of the 2015 Biathlon Junior World Championship, which will begin on 17 February at the National Winter Olympic Training Centre Raubichi. The viewers will be offered live broadcasts of all the races.

20 athletes from different Belarusian regions will represent the country at the Biathlon Junior World Championship. Its main venue will be the famous National Olympic Training Centre for Winter Sports Raubichi, which has one of the best biathlon complexes in the world.

Following the qualifying rounds, the national team includes Roman Shinkevich, Igor Karpyuk, Vadim Radyuk, Anton Smolsky, Pavel Poplavsky, Anna Sola, Darya Blashko, Dinara Alimbekova, Anastasia Anufrieva and Kristina Mazurina (all under 19); Viktor Krivko, Maxim Vorobei, Oleg Litvinsky, Evgeny Lipai, Vladislav Medyukho, Tatiana Trifonova, Anastasia Kunets, Diana Babitskaya, Evgenia Yakovleva and Svetlana Markovskaya (all under 21).

The first races of the Junior Championship will be aired live on Belarus 5 on 18 February: the individual Under 19 Girls race will begin at 9:55; the individual Under 19 Boys race will be broadcast at 13:30.

The Biathlon Junior World Championship will be broadcast daily, with recorded versions of the races to be repeated later. Besides, the most interesting and exciting moments of the Championship will be covered in the programme PRO Sport News on Belarus 5.
