International Radio Belarus of BTRC jointly with the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian Society of Friendship and Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries and the Republican Sinology Institute named after Confucius of the Belarusian State University will begin on April, 15, an international competition of creative works (essays) devoted to the theme Belarusian-Chinese Cooperation. Silk Road and Industrial Park Great Stone Through My Eyes.
The aim of the contest is to promote the Belarusian-Chinese strategic partnership in the mass media worldwide, to inform the Belarusian and world community about the international project Economic Zone of the Silk Road and the Industrial Park Great Stone, to popularize knowledge about Radio Belarus and the Republic of Belarus as a whole, to develop interest in our country, director of Radio Belarus Naum Galperovich says.
The competition is open to citizens of Belarus and foreigners without any restrictions on the basis of age or social status. Creative works in Russian, Belarusian and Chinese can be sent to the special email address silkwayessay@gmail.com until December, 31, this year.
The jury will include authoritative experts in the field of Belarusian-Chinese relations of the friendship society Belarus - China of the Belarusian Society of Friendship and Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, officials of Radio Belarus, of the Chinese Embassy in the Republic of Belarus and the Republican Sinology Institute named after Confucius of the BSU.
Further information about the contest will be published in a special section on the official website of the International Radio Belarus www.radiobelarus.tvr.by. One will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the works submitted for the contest there. Moreover, interviews with the participants of the contest will be presented on the radio.
The final results of the essay competition Belarusian-Chinese Cooperation. Silk Road and Industrial Park Great Stone Through My Eyes will be announced in early 2017 at the ceremony of awarding the winners. Twenty best essays will be published in a special edition.
