Fully implemented 28 Union programs and set tasks for joint work until 2027. This was announced by Secretary of State of the Union State Dmitry Mezentsev on the margins of the XI Forum of regions. It was held for two days in Vitebsk Region. On the first day of the forum everyone worked in sections, there were 9 of them in total: in health care, light and heavy industry, agriculture.
This year's forum surpassed all previous records in terms of the amount of concluded contracts - over Br1 billion 100 million. In total, more than 250 documents were signed on the margins of the forum.
On the second day, speakers of the upper houses of the parliaments of Belarus and Russia Natalia Kochanova and Valentina Matviyenko held a meeting with the governors, each of the regions made a report, summarized the agreements signed at the last forum. Today Russia is one of the main markets where we supply our products. For example, we are in second place in terms of supplies to the Vologda Region, and with the Smolensk Region we are among the top 5 exporters.
At the plenary session, the speakers emphasized that it is necessary to further develop cooperation: together to create exclusive goods and services demanded by the market, to form a common scientific and technological space. Sixty programs have already been implemented. Several more are under preparation.
