Young Belarusian athletes have left for the VIII International Sports Games "Children of Asia," BelTA informs.
The Belarusian delegation was seen off at the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee. 144 young athletes under the age of 16, as well as coaches and representatives of the teams went to Yakutsk. The delegation included Belarusian champions and record holders of the country in their age categories.
The Belarusians will compete in basketball, boxing, volleyball, judo, track and field athletics, table tennis, swimming, shooting, wrestling, archery, taekwondo and rhythmic gymnastics at the international sports forum, which will be held from June 26 to July 6.
