This is the first Belarusian city on the way of a column of 15 pieces of equipment. Both old and new combat vehicles take part in the race. Almost fifty activists fr om Russia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Uzbekistan and Belarus take part in the race. The action is dedicated to the 77th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War. Orsha was not chosen by chance: it was here wh ere the legendary Katyusha made its first volley in the summer of 1941. The guests laid flowers at the memorial and honored the heroes of the war with a minute of silence.
Orsha residents can visit the exhibition of armored vehicles participating in the run. Tomorrow they will leave for Minsk.
