On the instructions of the President of Belarus, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik took part in an official mourning ceremony in Tehran to commemorate the tragic deaths of President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian and their companions. Sergei Aleinik, during a brief conversation with Vice President Mohsen Mansouri, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration for Political Affairs Mohammad Jamshidi and Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani, conveyed condolences on behalf of the President of Belarus and the Belarusian people, expressing words of solidarity and confidence that the Iranian people will pass the ordeal with honor.
The Iranian side expressed gratitude to the President of Belarus for his support and unwavering commitment to the development of bilateral relations.
