Belarusian delegation not allowed to participate in OSCE PA session

An example of blatant bias and discrimination: the Romanian authorities deliberately disrupted the participation of the delegation of the National Assembly of Belarus in the 31st annual session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Bucharest by refusing to enter the country. This is stated in the statement of the delegation of our country in connection with the non-admission.

The decision was taken contrary to all basic commitments and principles of the OSCE. The Organization is called upon to be a platform for open dialogue, the value of which is especially growing in the current aggravation of foreign policy confrontation. Approaches that deprive full-fledged members of the opportunity to present their national positions undermine the international authority and the foundations of the organization itself.

In this connection, the Belarusian side does not recognize the decisions that may be taken during the session with regard to Belarus.
