Belarus and China will more actively develop partnership relations in the educational sphere.
Today, Alexander Lukashenko met with Secretary of the Party Committee of Peking University Hao Ping and representatives of Chinese universities. Such a solid delegation of rectors has never come to us before. This is a clear example of the high level of relations between Belarus and China. Cooperation is gaining momentum not only in the economy, there is an interest to expand student exchanges, communication between young people and the development of interaction between universities.
"The Republic of Belarus is interested in further development of partnership relations with China in all areas of the educational sphere. Especially today, when we are implementing jointly with our Chinese friends super-modern projects in the field of biotechnology, chemical and processing industries, production of unmanned aerial vehicles and electric cars. Therefore, we are counting on cooperation with China in training in these areas," said Lukashenko.
"I emphasize that we also have considerable experience and competence in all the above-mentioned areas. Today we need to accelerate such cooperation. This is the key to our scientific sovereignty and successful import substitution. I support the initiative to create a center for fundamental research. I am confident that its activities will become a new round of scientific and technical research."
