President of Belarus proposes to Prime Minister of Pakistan to finalize and approve roadmap for cooperation in the future

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko met with Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif in Astana on the margins of the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, BELTA reports.

The Belarusian head of state proposed to finalize and approve the roadmap for the development of bilateral cooperation in the future.

Shahbaz Sharif renewed the invitation to the Belarusian head of state to visit Pakistan. Alexander Lukashenko thanked him for the meeting and the great assistance rendered in the process of Belarus joining the SCO as a full member. "Thank you for the friendly atmosphere and warmth with which we always meet you at various international forums, including this forum," the Belarusian leader said.

Alexander Lukashenko congratulated Shahbaz Sharif on his recent election as prime minister.

"I will definitely try to visit Pakistan before the end of this year," the Belarusian leader said. - A brief plan of our organizational activities this year is emerging. In September, members of the intergovernmental commission of our countries will meet. In October, our Prime Minister will visit you in Pakistan as part of the SCO heads of government event. I would very much like you to find time to meet him. At this meeting we could finalize our action plan for the future. And during my visit to Pakistan before the end of this year, you and I will have a meeting with him.
