President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated President of the Federative Republic of Brazil Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and the people of this country on the national holiday - the 202nd anniversary of the proclamation of independence, the press service of the Belarusian leader reported.
“Belarus, committed to the ideas of peaceful settlement of any conflicts, highly appreciates the initiatives of Brazil, which seeks to help build a fairer and more balanced world order. I am confident that chairmanship in the G20 will allow your country to strengthen its international authority, achieve practical results in defending national interests, as well as make a feasible contribution to supporting sustainable development and rethinking the system of global governance,” the congratulatory message reads.
