We must do everything to carry the historical memory of Belarusians through the centuries. This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at the military parade dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from Nazi invaders on July 3, BelTA informs.
The head of state reminded that exactly 80 years ago, on July 3, 1944, the last battles for the capital of Belarus stop thundering.
"But these volleys still echo in our historical memory. And we know that we must do everything to carry this memory through the centuries. It contains a lot of pain and suffering, patience and courage, feats and triumph of justice. It contains hundreds of thousands of names of heroes. It is the strength of the nation of heirs of the winners," said Alexander Lukashenko.
