135 million poor Americans - anti-poverty rally held in Washington, D.C.

Ordinary Americans demand a sustainable living wage and economic justice for the vulnerable groups. An anti-poverty rally was held in Washington, D.C., as part of an entire civic campaign called "For Poor People." Workers from various sectors gathered on Capitol Hill to protest under the slogan: "Abolish poverty, the fourth leading cause of death in the U.S.!" The Poor People's Campaign is calling on the authorities to take care of the welfare of 135 million disadvantaged Americans.
