Latvia continues to persecute those who honor the memory of the fallen Soviet soldiers. So, a criminal case was initiated against the head of the Liepaja territorial organization of the Russian Union of Latvia. The reason is a music video for Victory Day.

So far I am at liberty, which can't help but make me happy. As you might expect, they charged me with Article 74.1 - "justification of genocide, crimes against humanity, crimes against peace and war crimes". That's the kind of scary person I am.
Osipova was one of the candidates for the European Parliament in the recent elections. She spoke very specifically and harshly about the demolition of Soviet monuments in Latvia.
