Lukashenko: Work in the conditions of sanctions pressure requires immediate decisions

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko pointed out to the sluggishness in the EAEU in the issues of industrial cooperation. He said this at a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Moscow, BelTA informs.

The head of state reminded that last year fundamental decisions were taken to financially support industrial cooperation. Despite this, there is still no serious activity of business.

"At the same time, I would like to note once again that the work in the conditions of sanctions pressure requires immediate decisions. Quick decisions. The leaders of the participating countries mostly make such decisions promptly. However, they are not always quickly implemented," said the Belarusian leader. - I would like to draw attention of all those present that such sluggishness really affects the financial results of our enterprises and leads to tougher competition from third countries.

Taking into account the introduction of a new mechanism of financial support for industrial cooperation, Alexander Lukashenko asked the Eurasian Economic Commission to proactively engage in this work and organize interaction both in terms of industries and with the involvement of business associations and unions of the Union member states.

"The funds for subsidizing projects have been allocated a lot, and they should be used very effectively," the head of state emphasized.
