Arkhangelsk Region is an example of this. Today the President met with the governor of the region at the Palace of Independence. Alexander Tsybulsky arrived in our country by the first direct flight connecting Minsk and Arkhangelsk. Now it is possible to cover almost 2 thousand kilometers in two and a half hours. The President is sure that this is a good signal for business and tourists. Now it will be easier to study each other's potential and work more actively.
Lukashenko: Belarus is determined to increase trade turnover with Arkhangelsk Region
"This is a good start. Both for businessmen and for people especially from remote corners of Russia. To come to Belarus and not only to get acquainted with Belarus, but also to get appropriate health resort procedures. We have a lot of Russians here," the President said.
Arkhangelsk Region is a long-standing and reliable partner of Belarus. However, the parties, as the head of state noted, have not yet reached exorbitant figures in trade turnover. "But, I believe, we have everything ahead of us. There is a systematic increase in mutual trade since 2020," said Alexander Lukashenko.
