The Belarusian President met with legendary poet, director, screenwriter and journalist Yevgeny Yevtushenko yesterday to discuss not only literature, but also the key issues of war and peace. The Russian poetry classic expressed gratitude to Alexander Lukashenko for his contribution to peace and a principled stance on settling the situation in Ukraine.
