By Evgeni Pobalovets: Be Safe project implemented in Belarus. Experts from Italy give lectures to road users - drivers, pedestrians and inspectors, and provide practical recommendations on the organization of traffic. Be Safe is implemented for the improvement of traffic management in Belarus. The graduate students in the near future will use European experience in practice. Graduates of the department of traffic management, which opened at the University of 4 years ago, will perform the inspections.
Be Safe project came to Belarus several years ago. In addition to our country, it is realized in the United Kingdom, Italy and Greece. For this purpose, the European Union has allocated almost half a million euro.
