The Minsk Jazz musical project led by the maestro Mikhail Finberg marks its 25th anniversary this year. The Belarusian National Academic Concert Orchestra musicians are unique: they play jazz, as well as academic, pop and folk music. But for the two festival days the repertoire of the orchestra will include an anniversary concert, latin jazz and jam session. In general, the history of jazz in Belarus extends back over 75 years.
A singer from Moscow, Karina Kozhevnikova, will come to the 25th Jazz Festival, which runs February 3 and 4, and the Belarusian side will be represented by jazz vocal of the Honored Artist of Belarus Natalia Tamela.
