The Lithuanian authorities provide support, including financial support, to militant groups on its territory, which aim to overthrow the legitimate authorities in Belarus. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of our country in an interview with RIA Novosti. Sergei Aleinik emphasized that Vilnius should stop supporting extremists, opposing the Belarusian authorities: it could have a boomerang effect.

Sergei Aleinik, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus:

"The information we have, which we have brought to our attention, including through diplomatic channels, shows that the Lithuanian authorities actually support and finance the preparation of near-military formations that aim to overthrow the legitimate authorities in the territory of the Republic of Belarus and use terrorist, extremist activities against our country. They should clearly realize that any crossing of red lines in this part will entail responsibility, including their responsibility for the assistance, financing, support, which they provide to these military formations."

Head of the KGB of Belarus Ivan Tertel said earlier that there were about 50 foreign foundations in Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine, financing both the promotion of "soft power" policy towards our country and radical variants of the change of power in the republic. Moreover, the Belarusian security forces prevented a series of drone strikes on facilities in Minsk and its suburbs. According to the KGB, the strikes were planned by combat drones from the territory of Lithuania.

The degree of NATO hostility in the Belarusian direction is growing. Another information attack has begun. Thus, the Italian newspaper Repubblica, citing sources in the leadership of the alliance, writes that NATO may interfere in the war in Ukraine if Belarus is involved in the conflict on the side of Russia, or Russia attacks the Baltic States, Poland or Moldova.
