Belarusian diplomats lay flowers and wreaths at memorials to fallen soldiers abroad, hold commemorative actions

Belarus remembers and reminds Europe is indebted to the Soviet people who saved it from the brown plague and won the Great Victory. Today Belarusian diplomats are laying flowers and wreaths at memorials to fallen soldiers abroad, holding commemorative actions.

Ambassador of Belarus in Vienna, heads of diplomatic missions of the CIS and CSTO countries, representatives of Austrian public organizations laid wreaths at the memorials to the Red Army soldiers on Schwarzenbergplatz and the Central Cemetery of the Austrian capital.

Memorial wreaths were laid today at the memorial to the Soviet citizens who fell during the liberation of Belgium, as well as at the monument "The Wall of the Executed" in honor of the Belgians who died during the Second World War. The events were attended by the Charge d'Affaires of Belarus in Belgium and the staff of our embassy in Belgium.

Today, diplomats of the Belarusian Embassy in Turkmenistan took part in the ceremony of laying flowers at the monument "Eternal Glory" of the "People's Memory" Memorial Complex. Ambassadors of the CIS countries, Libya, Palestine, Afghanistan, employees of the UN mission in Turkmenistan, representatives of the clergy and residents of Ashgabat also took part in the large-scale ceremony.

Despite the bans, the Charge d'Affaires of Belarus in Lithuania together with Russian diplomats and representatives of the Russian-speaking diaspora laid memorial wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the Antakalnis Cemetery in Vilnius.
