Hospitals ready fot third wave of COVID-19

The hospitals in Minsk continue to treat Covid patients. They have everything they need: a two-month supply of PPE, medicines, ventilators, oxygen points and most importantly, highly qualified staff. Today, 125 patients are being treated at City Clinical Hospital No. 3 for COVID. 40 of them need oxygen support. The staff is strictly observing the anti-epidemic measures.

Almost 70% of the staff was vaccinated against coronavirus infection. They use Sputnik V, a Russian vaccine, and a Chinese vaccine.

The hospital is also continuing routine patient admissions. Clean areas opetate  in the gastroenterology, gynaecology, purulent surgery and ophthalmology wards. In the eye microsurgery ward, up to 60 operations are carried out every day.
