The entire expedition of the spaceship "Soyuz MS-24" was coordinated from the Mission Control Center in Korolev near Moscow. The center fully calculates the path of the crew back. Everything went normally. The spectacular space action was watched by dozens of journalists, and, of course, the loved ones of the cosmonauts.
Three and a half hours on the way and exactly on schedule, at 10:18 the descent vehicle with Marina Vasilevskaya on board landed in the steppes of Kazakhstan. All its way from the ISS to the Earth was led by the specialists of the Mission Control Center. They were constantly in touch with the crew.
Yana Novitskaya, daughter of cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky:
“Every time I look at the launch, at the docking, at the landing. And one half of me realizes that he is flying, the other half - no, it's absurd, he can't be there. I'm very happy that he's back, that he's back.”
