The Central Election Commissions of Belarus and Uzbekistan are interested in joint introduction of high technologies in the electoral process. This will be possible after the signing of a cooperation agreement between the state bodies.

Today, Chairman of the Central Election Commission Igor Karpenko is holding bilateral meetings with foreign colleagues to talk about the campaign. The delegation of Uzbekistan appreciated how Belarus is improving the electoral culture of young people. In their country, more than half of voters are under the age of 35, and there are also opportunities for joint work, while time demands new approaches.

Zainiddin Nizamkhodjaev, Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan:

People want to use their electoral rights as quickly, efficiently as possible and without any external interference. This is also a great achievement of development of today's IT-technologies, and in Belarus IT-technologies have a very high development.

During the meeting the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Tajikistan at once noted the information work of the election campaign in the country: banners on the streets and operational data on TV channels. We also cooperate closely with the country within the framework of the Advisory Council of Heads of Election Bodies of CIS member states, emphasized Igor Karpenko. In general, the assessment of partners is high.
