Belarus should be ready for any scenario, although it is still unbelievable that Western Europe has gone mad and will cross the line. This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at the solemn meeting on the occasion of Victory Day at the Palace of the Republic, BelTA informs.

"You know from the stories of parents and grandfathers how difficult it was for those who survived - in dugouts, trenches, forests... Half-starved, lousy, half undressed," said the head of state, recalling the hard times of the Great Patriotic War. - This can't be allowed anymore. It will not be repeated in the history of Belarus.

"Saying all this, I'm thinking about not overdoing it, not to strain our society," continued Alexander Lukashenko. - Everything we are doing, we are doing in order to prevent this (the repetition of the experience of the Great Patriotic War. - BELTA's note) from happening. I don't believe that anyone in Western Europe - fat and fattened - will want to get into dirty, lousy trenches to fight. They're already used to it. And our young people, you know, don't want it. It's us, who were born then, not far from that Great Victory, who understand what it all cost our parents and grandfathers."

"But we have to be ready for anything. I do not believe that they are mad and will break the line, which they even drew themselves," the head of state emphasized.
