Lukashenko: Housing should be built where labor is needed

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko considers it necessary to reorient approaches in housing construction and, first of all, to build where human resources are needed. The head of state spoke about this on the example of Orsha, when he talked to local residents and representatives of the clergy on the Easter holiday, BelTA informs.

Alexander Lukashenko told on the example of Orsha how he considers it necessary to adjust approaches to housing construction in order to provide numerous enterprises with labor force.

"I'm going and I think that we'll have to build more housing here to attract people. They don't have enough people. About 20 years ago, there was nowhere to go - unemployment. Now people are employed. And there are a lot of businesses here and in agriculture," said the head of state. - I think we'll have to reorient ourselves and build where we need labor except for large families and the military. This is sacred, these are separate queues. And the rest of the money should be directed to the construction of housing where labor is needed."

"It is necessary to build as it was right in Soviet times: we create some enterprise solid, and housing around it to attract people and a normal salary. These are such thoughts when I drove up to my and your native place," said the head of state.

He recalled with warmth that he himself had often visited and even lived in Orsha in his childhood. His mother worked in Orsha.
