New mayor of Vilnius insults Belarusian capital

Parks, a movie theater, traffic interchanges - Minsk is not only actively building, but also becoming more comfortable to live in. 9 billion rubles in the city budget. And half of this money is spent on social needs (education, medicine, construction of new schools, kindergartens, clinics and hospitals).

By the way, every fourth budgetary ruble in Minsk is spent on health care. And for all that, some "politicians" manage to call our capital "dreary".

This is about the mayor of Vilnius. It seems that the newly elected politician has decided to earn points before the Western curators. Yet, who is he kidding? Lithuanians often visit Minsk themselves and see our well-kept streets, beautiful historical sites and recreation areas.

As little of Minsk as possible and as much of Brussels as possible. And this says the main, God forbid, point of Europe. Yes, yes, that's how Vilnius positions itself.

Yet, not only local residents, but even tourists did not appreciate it.

And now there's a new mayor. And a new request. Now for the fullness of experience Vilnius wants a boy who pees. Everyone, of course, has their own preferences. But instead of touching Minsk, maybe they would have better kept silent. Less Minsk, more Brussels. Is this the request of Vilnius?

Ah, yes. Our quiet, cozy, comfortable and, most importantly, green Minsk.

Brussels is undoubtedly good for its architecture. But the Lithuanian capital will not be rebuilt. And Vilnius has long been ready for such an order. Images from April 27. A spontaneous dump: tires, rags, and bottles.

And the social networks of the new mayor of Vilnius so on what photos mark it. Here is a citation: "the next wonder of the world", listed together with the Egyptian pyramids. Or here: "Spring reveals the beauty of Vilnius. Is the new city the city of the future? It doesn't look like it...", concludes the author. No likes, no comments.

Vadim Volovoi, Doctor of Political Science (Lithuania):

"There are huge problems with roads all over Lithuania. This is recognized at the national level. Just recently, there was a case where a bridge collapsed. That is, in such conditions, as if to talk about something and compare with Belarus - first, one has to solve this problem in Lithuania, so to speak, to become a good example, and then to make some comparisons and to boast or promise something."

"Humanization" has reached even the streets. In Vilnius, they are narrowed as much as possible, leaving only one lane for cars. The second lane is now used by public transport, while the third one is used by bicyclists.
