The Observer missions of the CIS and Shanghai Cooperation Organization are aimed at giving an objective assessment of the elections in Belarus. This was stated by the first deputy head of the Presidential Administration. Maxim Ryzhenkov held a meeting with students of the Academy of Management. They talked about exposing fakes, the progress of early voting and its importance for the country. Maxim Ryzhenkov noted that he himself has repeatedly participated in international election observation. And in this regard there is something to tell and analogies to draw.

Maxim Ryzhenkov, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Belarus:

Recently we have been talking a lot about the fact that there are certain Western organizations that deliberately distort the attitude of Belarusians to the electoral process in their own interests. There are other organizations that really monitor the transparency of the electoral process, give an objective assessment and make recommendations. For example, the SCO, CIS, which have already arrived in Belarus. And, based on my experience abroad, I can assure you that in Western countries, the elections are not always transparent and democratic.
