Bakeries going bankrupt in Germany

The surest way to go bankrupt in today's Germany is to go into bread baking. The German statistical office reports that last year 3 % of bakeries went bankrupt. In 10 years they have become less by 3 thousand, i.e. by a quarter. The main reason for the mass ruin - the high cost of electricity. First they switched to expensive liquefied gas, closed nuclear power plants, and now they are returning to the dirtiest types of energy production, like burning brown coal.
