Flowers were laid by heads and employees of the State Control Committee and young people from Minsk universities. Trostenets is one of the largest death camps in Europe. According to official data, more than 206 thousand people died there in gas chambers. The important words to the young generation were also said by a former prisoner of German camps: "To remember that this tragedy should never happen again!"
Trostenets is one of the many death factories of World War II, where people were exterminated until late June 1944. Today there is a monument at the tragic site.
