Members of Council of the Republic approve amendments to laws on customs regulation

On April 10, the Council of the Republic approved two draft laws. One of them concerns changes in the laws of entrepreneurial activity. It provides for a system of grants, namely the allocation of funds to entrepreneurs from local budgets on a non-repayable basis, as well as reimbursement at the expense of the national budget part of the capital costs incurred in the implementation of investment projects with loans from the Development Bank. A special procedure is introduced (day to day) for the transition of IE into a commercial organization with continuity of all rights and obligations to the budget and counterparties.

The senators also passed a bill on customs regulation. It will ensure a complete transition to electronic document flow, will provide opportunities for individuals to use the portal of public services at customs free of charge, as well as reduce the time of decision-making by customs authorities.
