Today, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko held a personnel Monday. New appointments in the ministries and local vertical.
Thus, Belarus has distributed two ministerial portfolios at once. The vacant position of the head of the Ministry of Justice was taken by Yevgeni Kovalenko (a member of the Presidential Administration, was the head of the Main State Legal Department). The post of Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection is taken by Sergei Masliak (ex-head of the administration of Zavodskoy District of Minsk). There is a new chairman of the Committee on Standardization. The first deputy, Elena Morgunova, sits in this chair from today.
While appointing each of them, the President outlined the range of tasks and priorities for the appointees.
"As for the Ministry of Justice, it has always been a very serious ministry. I really want the work to succeed," said the Belarusian leader. The department is not easy to a certain extent, but the head of state expects successful work.
"As for the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, we recently held a serious meeting in this regard. I'll tell you straight: you need to dig and search. In addition, you need to get everyone to work in this direction. I do not believe that we do not have what we need in our earth."
