Sergei Klishevich: The Cuban people are aware of what is happening in Belarus and support our state

The relations between Belarus and Cuba are based on friendship, mutual understanding and support. The Chairman of the House of Representatives Vladimir Andreichenko said so during today's meeting with Ambassador of Cuba to Belarus Santiago Perez Benitez. They discussed interaction between the legislative bodies of both countries. The issues of Belarus and Cuba cooperation in trade, economic and humanitarian spheres were also discussed.

Sergei Klishevich, Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus:

“The relations with Cuba are reaching a new level of development at this historical stage. We see how our contacts have intensified in various spheres. Starting from medicine up to industry, agriculture and IT sector. Of course, these relations must be supported by certain political support. We are constantly increasing support to each other at international forums. Belarus constantly expresses solidarity with the people of Cuba in connection with constant attacks by the United States. And, naturally, the Cuban people are aware of what is going on in Belarus and support our state and our domestic and foreign policy.”

The Ambassador of Cuba has also noted that the Chairman of the National Assembly of the People's Power of Cuba is going to visit Belarus on December 2. He will pay an official visit to the brotherly country, summarized the diplomat.
