Belarus expects a significant increase in trade with Russia’s Kostroma region, as stated by President Alexander Lukashenko at today’s meeting with the Russian region’s delegation. According to Governor Sergei Sitnikov, cooperation potential is well above last year's 80 million dollars. The region is interested in expanding the imports of Belarusian machinery classics and opening service centres. The region is ready to allocate land plots for Belarusian investors, including for the implementation of joint projects.

The delegation familiarised itself with the product range of the Amkodor company yesterday. Today, the guests are scheduled to visit Belkommunmash. Negotiations will continue in the Government in the afternoon. The talks are expected to result in the signing of a cooperation roadmap between Belarus and the Kostroma region for three years.
