"You helped to preserve stability and peace in Belarus." Lukashenko presents state awards to deputies and senators

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko presented state awards to deputies and senators at a meeting in the Oval Hall, BELTA reports.

The head of state thanked the parliamentarians of both chambers of the National Assembly for their fruitful work for the benefit of the people. "Your main merit as representatives of your constituents is that you have helped to preserve stability and peace in Belarus," the President noted.

Alexander Lukashenko wished everyone good health, inexhaustible energy, happiness and all the best, and wished peace and good to our country.

The President fulfilled his constitutional mission and presented a number of deputies of the House of Representatives and members of the Council of the Republic with well-deserved state awards for their fruitful state and public activities, significant personal contribution to the development of legislation and parliamentarism.

The Order of the Fatherland, First Degree, was awarded to Vladimir Andreichenko, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly. Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee on National Security of the House of Representatives Alexander Markevich was awarded the Order of Honor.
