Citizens of nine countries hurt in UAV attack in Tatarstan

Citizens of nine countries, including Kyrgyzstan and several African states, suffered as a result of a UAV attack in Yelabuga of the Republic of Tatarstan. This was reported to TASS in the press service of the head of the region, writes BelTA.

"During the drone attack on the SEZ "Alabuga" citizens of nine countries suffered," the press service noted. The agency's interlocutor specified that most of the injured were citizens of the African continent, while one more was a citizen of Kyrgyzstan.

On April 2, Ukrainian UAVs attacked the territory of Tatarstan for the first time. Two drones attacked a dormitory building in the Alabuga special economic zone (SEZ). According to the press service of the SEZ, the devices were "equipped with equipment of NATO countries". According to the latest data, 14 people were injured, including two minors. All the victims are students of the college "Alabuga Polytech". The Investigative Committee of Russia is investigating the facts of the shelling in Tatarstan.
