Capturing the Net and Manipulating the Minds of the Target Country - How Is Information Warfare Machine Managed?

 In modern time, the war unfolds in the information field in the first place: fakes, inserts, replacement of notions, falsification of facts - all this has become a familiar toolkit of the Western countries. All of it was tested on Belarus in  2020. We have learned our lesson. 

Hybrid technologies, information and psychological operations are gaining momentum in the world. Special centers have been and are being established to generate  the necessary and often false content and influence the consumer.  In this situation, one must not hesitate; one must respond.  This was stated by our President, answering the questions of journalists during his visit to Khatyn memorial.  Alexander Lukashenko said: "We are Belarusians. If something happens, we look around the corner so as not to offend someone. This is a good quality, but not for today." 

Laws of the information policy, our President is convinced, should be based solely on the truth and facts. 

The  modern war begins long before the first shot is fired or the first trench is dug.  It all starts with psychological operations in the information warfare. Their weapons are propaganda, the creation of visual and printed materials, so that the population did not think, but followed the herd instinct. 

The fourth and eighth groups of psychological operations are the main regular formations of the U.S. ground forces. Their structure and form are constantly changing, but according to open sources, which you can further see with your own eyes, the tactical groupings are located in specific theaters of potential or actual warfare. For example,  the U.S. regional psychological operations battalions are located in areas of the Atlantic, Central and South America, Europe, and Africa. 

It's important to understand here, the specifics, the goals and objectives of these tactical groups. These are specialists who are physically trained, highly unconventional, logical and analytical. They study the population, its cultural and linguistic characteristics in order to manipulate, look for the most vulnerable places to create conflicts by foreign hands on other people's territories. 

"Psychological operations soldiers use a variety of methods and non-traditional capabilities, such as cultural knowledge, language skills and advanced communication techniques, to influence foreign audiences and develop relationships with national civilians, government officials, military and law enforcement. Cultural training is important because to be effective in the human sphere you must be aware of cultural nuances, sensitivities, and vulnerabilities." 

U.S. special operations commands interact with embassies, allies, NATO partners and U.S. government agencies that work in the region. Georgia, Egypt, Ukraine - the color revolutions in these countries were organized through social networks. In the Egyptian revolution, the protest masses were accumulated on Facebook. At first, these were groups that criticized the government. There was a systematic pressure on emotions and irritation with the current course. The protest masses were supposed to be ready for a certain time-it was the job of the customer. And then, boom! At the appointed day and hour, the masses, already emotionally prepared, went to the streets with an aggressive mood: to maidan, burn, and pillage. The same things happened in Georgia and Ukraine.
