A flagpole for the state flag of the Republic of Belarus has already been reserved in front of the SCO secretariat building in Beijing. This was stated by Deputy Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Grigory Logvinov .
The politician says that a memorandum on the obligations of the Republic of Belarus in connection with the status of an SCO member state was signed at the summit in New Delhi on July 4. "All the relevant procedures will be carried out in Minsk in the shortest possible time," he is sure.
According to him, Belarus is a great example. "Having become an SCO dialogue partner, the country has become an observer and after being an observer for quite a long time, it has come to the conclusion that the SCO membership meets the vital national interests of Belarus," said Grigory Logvinov.
