Minsk and Tashkent expand cooperation - joint projects discussed by mayor of the capital with representatives of the delegation from Uzbekistan

Exchange of experience in the provision of housing and communal services and digitalization, as well as in the construction of housing with a focus on the creation of comfortable infrastructure. Minsk and Tashkent are expanding cooperation. Joint projects were discussed today by Mayor of the capital Vladimir Kukharev with representatives of the delegation from Uzbekistan.

Now, modern residential complexes are being actively built in Tashkent, so the experience of the Belarusian colleagues is in demand. Minsk and Tashkent are also fruitfully developing trade interaction. The focus is on attracting investments. New industrial and economic clusters in Tashkent are ready to welcome Belarusian manufacturers on the local market.

The first cooperation agreement between the capitals of Belarus and Uzbekistan was signed exactly five years ago. This year Minsk and Tashkent became sister cities. The program of the visit includes a visit to Gorremavtodor, Minskgreenstroy and city parks. Representatives of the delegation from Uzbekistan will also familiarize themselves with the work of large industrial enterprises of Minsk.
