Belarus considers producing small aircraft for new civil aviation

The aircraft construction was discussed at a meeting with Russian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov. It was announced that a new program will be ready for the Innoprom exhibition, the told Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Dmitry Krutoy.

There are several parts to aircraft construction, says the diplomat. "The basic one is to load the capacities that we have, and try to enter the medium-term programs until 2025-2030, to close all the needs under its existing capacities. The second important area is the new segment, where we could already start assembling final products. We discussed civilian aircraft construction. It could be small airplanes of the new civil aviation, part of which could be localized in Belarus, said Dmitry Krutoy. - This topic will be worked out and the Prime Minister will report on it at Innoprom in Yekaterinburg in July".

Dmitry Krutoy noted that the orders from various Russian industries are simply huge. "And now we need to understand the form of participation, financing and terms," he summarized.
